Taokeh

Proof, not promises

Don't take our word for it — here's the paper trail

Any accounting tool can say it's accurate, compliant and safe. The honest question is: what can it show you? These are the checks Taokeh has actually passed — receipts a brand-new app can't manufacture. Where the detail is about protecting and exporting your data, we point you to our full trust page rather than repeat it here.

The receipts

LHDN confirmed our PCB (MTD) 2026 calculation in writing

Malaysian Monthly Tax Deduction (PCB/MTD) is fiddly: the reliefs, the rounding, the categories. LHDN reviewed our payroll engine and wrote to us on 13 August 2026 (ref 2026-256) confirming that the MTD 2026 calculation in Taokeh meets IRBM standard and required specification. The confirmation covers PCB/MTD. EPF, SOCSO and EIS have no vendor approval scheme; there we match the agencies' published contribution tables row for row.

A consolidated e-invoice came back Valid on MyInvois

We submitted a consolidated e-invoice to LHDN's MyInvois preproduction portal and it was accepted as Valid — proof the files Taokeh builds clear LHDN's own validator, not just our internal tests.

Our own end-to-end security review — clean at the exploit bar

An end-to-end security review — OWASP Top 10 and STRIDE threat-modelling across sign-in, tenant isolation and the money paths — came back clean at the exploit bar. Every company’s books are walled off from every other’s at the database level.

Backups we actually restore

Your books are backed up daily and encrypted, with a fuller weekly copy that includes your attachments — and, the part most tools skip, we rehearse the restore every month, checking that every journal entry still balances to the cent. An untested backup is a hope, not a backup.

Your data is always yours

Full export, any time — reports and CSV, on your terms, with no “contact sales” wall to get your own books back. Stop paying and your company goes read-only, never deleted.

The receipts, explained

Is Taokeh really built on real books?

Yes. It's built and dogfooded on a real Malaysian business's cutover, and validated against LHDN's published standards — the PCB grading and the MyInvois “Valid” result above come from that work, not a slideshow.

What exactly did LHDN confirm?

That the Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) 2026 calculation developed in Taokeh's payroll system complies with IRBM standard and required specification. It came after a review that ran from June to August 2026, and the letter is dated 13 August 2026 (ref LHDNM.01/45/274/3-2 (2026-256)). Two limits worth stating plainly: it covers PCB/MTD for 2026 only, and IRBM can withdraw it if our calculation stops meeting the specification, so we re-verify against the published spec every January. The letter also said our name would be added to IRBM's official list of software providers complying with the MTD specifications — and it has been: Taokeh (Enya Venture) is entry 256 on the official list on hasil.gov.my, effective 13 August 2026.

Are EPF, SOCSO and EIS “approved” too?

No, and no software can honestly claim that. KWSP and PERKESO run no vendor approval scheme for contribution software. What we can show is conformance: our EPF, SOCSO and EIS figures come from the agencies' own published tables, transcribed row by row rather than computed as a flat percentage, and the contribution files we generate load into i-Akaun and ASSIST in their required formats.

What is MyInvois preproduction?

MyInvois is LHDN's national e-invoicing platform. Preproduction is its official sandbox — submitting there and getting a “Valid” status means LHDN's own validator accepted the e-invoice file, not just our internal tests. The consolidated lane — for walk-in and aggregated sales — is the one we've proven.

How is my data protected, and how do I get it out?

In short: your books are isolated at the database level, backups are rehearsed monthly, and you can export everything any time. The full detail is on our Trust & security page.
